Paweł Kulczyński is both a musician and sound artist who specializes in creating sound installations, building instruments, and working with field recordings. He employs complex multichannel sound synthesis, projection, and composing strategies in his work and is particularly interested in the social and spatial contexts of music, the phenomenology of the audiosphere, acoustics, random events, and conceptualism. Recently, his compositions have featured motifs of mass extinction and planetary mourning. He has performed at prominent festivals in Europe and overseas, including CTM Berlin, Unsound in Kraków, New York, Toronto, and Bishkek, as well as Primavera Sound and recently at Gwangju Biennale.
