Michał Aftyka

Double bass player, composer, student at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Holder of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Co-founder of several bands: Theos & Vincents, JAH Trio, Ola Błachno Quartet, Aga Gruczek Trio. He is the winner of 2nd place at Krokus Jazz 2020 (Aga Gruczek Trio), individual award at RCK Pro Jazz 2019 and honorable mention at Blue Note 2019 (JAH Trio). He wrote the music for the show Legends of Warsaw at the Syrena Theatre in Warsaw.
