Michał Szeligowski
Percussionist, in addition to his collaboration with Umeda, member of, among others, the Przemyslaw Chmiel Quartet
Percussionist, member of bands Przemysław Chmiel Quartet, Monika Malczak Quintet, Robert Wypasek Trio. He particularly appreciates the fact that music allows people to communicate in an abstract way, and communing with this kind of art gives an opportunity to break out of the pattern of everyday life. He graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Adam Buczek and Paweł Dobrowolski. He received 2nd prize (in the ensemble category) at the Blue Note Poznań Competition (2018) with the Przemysław Chmiel Quartet. With this ensemble, he recorded the album Witchcraft in 2020.
